The White Band

The Legal Fraternity, Connected.

A hybrid community for law students, lawyers, advocates and legal professionals to connect, learn, contribute and grow.

Online when it helps. In the room when it matters.

Why The White Band?

Some connections are meant to happen face-to-face.

Two teacups and a closed notebook on a dark wood table.

Technology made learning and introductions easier. It did not replace the value of sitting across a table, hearing how a brief was actually built, or being remembered after the session ends.

The White Band brings together the accessibility of the digital world with the value of real-world relationships, practical learning and shared experiences. We meet online so distance is not a barrier. We meet in person so the work can become a relationship.

Back to the Roots. Forward Together.

What We Do

A room for practice, not just a feed.

Six things the community exists to do. Each one is already named so members can join the work, not wait for a finished product.

  • Community Gatherings

Tables, workshops and conversations that put the legal fraternity in the same room.
  • Practical Learning

Drafting, research, case analysis and advocacy taught as work, not as a slide deck.
  • Internships & Opportunities

Notices that can move a legal career forward: internships, research, fellowships and more.
  • Mentorship & Guidance

Older hands and newer ones in the same conversation, without turning it into a coaching funnel.
  • Law + AI

A clear-eyed track on legal technology and how practice is changing.
  • Member-Led Initiatives

The community is built with its members. If you can host, teach, or gather people, there is room.

Who Is It For?

Law Students · Lawyers · Advocates · Legal Professionals

If you are in the legal fraternity, or on the way into it, there is a place for you here.

  • Law students

Find a room beyond campus societies: practice, people, and a first professional circle.
  • Lawyers

Stay in conversation with the profession outside your immediate team or chamber.
  • Advocates

Teach, listen, and meet the next generation without turning the brand into a practice page.
  • Legal professionals

Researchers, in-house counsel, academics and adjacent roles are part of the same fraternity.

We're just getting started.

A community built with its members, one conversation and one connection at a time. The first table has already been set in Indore. The next ones will be built by the people who join now.
