Online when it helps: so a student in another city can hear the same conversation, and so distance is not a test of belonging.
Offline when it matters: because some introductions only happen when people are in the same room, and because practice is easier to learn when you can see how someone works.
The White Band is hybrid on purpose. Digital access is not a compromise. In-person time is not a nostalgia act. Each mode does a different job.
